Partner Program Terms

Octora's Partner Program lets approved partners earn a commission for referring new paying subscribers to Octora. By enrolling, connecting a payout account, or sharing a referral link, you agree to these terms. We may update them; material changes will be posted here with a new date.

You need a free Octora account to enroll. You're responsible for the accuracy of your account and payout details. Partners must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract where they live. We may decline or remove any partner at our discretion.

You earn a recurring commission on the subscription fees actually paid by customers you refer, for as long as they remain active paying subscribers. Attribution is by your referral link (a cookie lasting up to 60 days from the click); the last partner link a customer used before subscribing is credited.

Your commission rate is shown in your dashboard. Rates may be tiered by the number of active paying subscribers you've referred, and we may agree a fixed rate with you in writing. We can change your rate prospectively with notice; changes never reduce commission already earned.

No commission is earned on: your own subscription or self-referrals; accounts referred through misleading, spam, trademark-bidding, or incentivised-click methods; taxes, refunds, chargebacks, or amounts Octora doesn't actually collect; or subscriptions that cancel or fail payment.

Commissions accrue automatically and are shown as owed. Payouts are made to your connected Stripe account and are subject to a short holding period (currently 15 days) so that refunds and chargebacks can settle first.

If a referred payment is later refunded or charged back, the related commission is reversed; if it was already paid, it may be deducted from future commissions. You're responsible for any taxes on what you earn.

Promote Octora honestly. Don't misrepresent the product, imply an endorsement or partnership beyond this program, use Octora's brand except to link to us, send spam, or bid on Octora trademarks in ads. Follow the FTC and local rules on disclosing that your links are affiliate links.

You can leave anytime. We can suspend or end your participation, or the program itself, at any time — including withholding commissions we reasonably believe come from fraud or a breach of these terms. Commissions properly earned and past the holding period will be paid.

You're an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, or partner of Octora, and can't bind us. The program is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, Octora isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and total liability under these terms is limited to commissions payable to you in the prior 6 months.
